My First Time

We all remember our first time. It is usually not so great, so y'all will have to be kind and understanding if I am clumsy, awkward and it ends too soon.

This past week I have been involved in an outdoor pageant. No not the beauty kind! It was what one would call a religious, historical pageant. Here is my first time in posting a website link...http://raleighpageant.org/ ...of course I didn't get it to underline, but remember this is my first time...

Anyway, I played the part of Emma Smith. This is because my hubby always plays Joseph and I am a jealous thang that doesn't like the idea of someone else grieving over my man's pseudo-dead remains. I was perfect for the part. Emma was tall, dark and slender. I am short, blonde and chubby. I did get to wear an awesome dark wig like the one pictured...that I couldn't figure out how to post below this paragraph! (I'm getting a little testy now...)

It's a fab look and the curls really bounce around when you walk. I think I would wear it everyday, but in the 100+ degree heat and high humidity that we were performing in, it kind of took the fun out of it.

I also played a doomed Nephite that gets speared after trying to save my son from the enemy. That's OK, Mormon got hacked to death too.

It was a long week, but despite the fact that I almost died of heat exhaustion, I would do it again next year.

Not too sure about the wig and crinoline though...

Oh Mah! You're blogging! Hopefully this will be a great experience for you and you'll be hankering for more.;o)

I remembered that your hubby plays Joseph Smith in the pageant! So cool you were Emma. Yeah, it'll bug me too if another woman was mourning my pseuo deceased spouse. :)I'm sure you were a hottie in that wig.

Now what poison did your posse slip you to get you to go see HP? If you liked the movie, then you'll enjoy the books even more. It's alot more detailed and more action! If you're free later on, we can TP and crop circle that witch's house? That was rude to shush the Mah. Her cooties will remind her not to shush ya! I'll meet you at the Hardees.

Is your missionary home yet? I remember you sure did miss him!

Can I add you to my friend list? I'm so happy to "see" you again! Keep on blogging so I can keep my eye on you!

Later Mah!

Hey, can I be your friend???
My missionary comes home on the 15th of next month, can you believe it? My next son leaves on September 5th for...Boise Idaho. Boy, he has had to deal with a lot of razzing on that one. Anyway, I will be an emotional Mormon jello salad for awhile, but what's two years of not seeing your flesh and blood? (Lucy crying jag will now ensue)
Yeah, not sure about the medieval/goth woman at the HP movie, but she will pay. Hmmm, perhaps a little caulking on her broom will show her. :P
I understand the books are always better than the movie, so I will see how much I get read on the sands of good old Myrtle.
I need my teenagers to show me all the finer points of blogging, since I can't have a PLAIN one, can I?
Great to finally have the time to find you!

Welcome to the blogging world Sister Keith! I would love to pick your brain about this fortifier. I feel like I'm against it, but they have all these "great" reasons why they put it in. Anyway, they put it in and my boys promptly started having all sorts of issues which went away when they cut back on the stuff. Anyway, thanks for the comment! OH, and is it Colton that's going to Boise? I have some wayward relations up that way... I'll give him their addresses! :)

Just one more, I promise, I'm not stalking you lol. I just had to comment on your pic, it's so cute. I always had more of a Paula Deen type picture of you in my head.

LOL! Andrea your're such a stalker! I thought the same with Paula Deen! Good thing she doesn't look like the wig lady on her blog. ;)

Paula Dean indeed! There will never be a grey hair on this coconut as long as there are foils and Clairol baby!
I do adhere to the big southern hair cult though and I will stick by it. I have a coating of hairspray in my lungs to prove it! I can't leave the house without the prerequisite 'bump' on the back of my noggin.
Ana, I got your back on that stupid fortifier. If Heavenly Father meant for our babies to have that to sustain them, He would have added it to the original recipe, if you know what I mean. As much milk as you have stockpiled, they could skim the cream and just give them that and they'd gain weight fine.
Oh don't get me started....

Okay....SUPER late on this one! (And you probably think I'm a big old stalker....which I probably am, but in the MC world you are a mystical enigma that everyone alludes too, and is too new to have known).

Okay, the whole Emma thing. As my FIL the Joseph Smith historian puts it, Emma was not some frail young thang. He points out that there was some journal where someone said that the horse Emma used once was perfect, because the horse was big and strong...implying that she was in fact more on the...well...healthier side. So take heart! I'm sure you're a lot more like Emma than you think! As well as your great sense of humor. ;)

I'm ACW by the way, or Anothercrazywalker. Or, you could probably just call me anothercrazystalker.
