Somebody's Gonna Have to Eat Her Words

Buffy the Bat Slayer is, in about one month, going to have to eat her words. For information on Buffy, please see the November 2008 post.

So anyway, we are once again planning a wedding. She is indeed marrying her Southern Gentleman. A fine young man whom we all love. Unfortunately they will return to Idaho to finish their education. This is unfortunate because I wish they could finish it here. But that's OK. They'll be back. He likes it here and for that I am so grateful.

But before this momentous event happens, my son returns from his Idaho-Boise mission, hopefully, in glory. :) For information on that son, see the September 2007 post.

Life is good. My new house is beautiful.I am still unpacking boxes, but who cares. I'll take boxes jammed in a closet here, verses anywhere else. I still stalk Target for my decor. Hey, you can't take the trailer chic out of this girl. Someday I might even post some pictures of my home sweet home. And for all my friends who remember me when I was trailer trash, thanks for hanging in there with me. :) Now where do I put that kitty cat chair?

I have a very cute granddaughter. She is growing so fast, and is a joy to have around. Every time she is over here, I whisper in her ear, "You love GiGi best!" I am GiGi and I believe in brain washing.I buy her all these cute dresses that she will probably never wear, but I enjoy buying them and playing dress up anyway. It ticks her mom off, but what do I care? I am having fun! That is my job!

Most interesting thing happening around here besides weddings and homecomings? Um, my son-in-law saw a bobcat in the woods next to the house yesterday. Not deep in the woods, but just barely in the woods.

Where is my Bat Slayer when I need her???

Welcome back to the blog world! Congrats on the new engagement. That must be exciting. If you want a frilly southern dress check out the ones they sell at Dollyworld. My mom bought Abby one when she was born. So cute! So, are we going to get together in my last nine months there or just talk about it?

You, my friend, were never white trash.
